Can you imagine a creator who would lay his life down for his creation? Well, it turns out, Our Creator loves us so much, that is exactly what He did for us! As a sinless and perfect sacrifice, He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross so that we could be purified from our sins forever. Also, not only did He die, but He was resurrected from the grave and beat death so that we could live forever in the Kingdom of God.

What a beautiful picture of sacrificial love! Jesus’ mission here on earth was to speak that truth about the Kingdom of God and to "seek and save the lost". When Jesus asked Peter, “Who do you say that I am?” He commended the Apostle Peter’s response, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Peter understood who Jesus is and that He has the power to transform lives.  

So, what does this all mean?  It’s simple:  Jesus Saves us from our sins and offers us a place with him in Heaven for all eternity!  This is a free gift.  There is nothing you can do to earn it.  You don’t have to be perfect to "earn” his love.  In fact, you can’t…  

How do I take this gift?  The Apostle Paul gives us the roadmap to salvation, “Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved”.
